DANNY BOYCE

Danny Boyce serves as Director of Investments and a Senior Portfolio Manager at Lee Financial in Dallas, Texas. He earned a Bachelors of Business Administration at the University of Texas at Tyler and holds a Masters of Business Administration from Baylor University. He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst and Certified Financial Planner.

Danny is originally from Longview, Texas where he met and married his middle-school sweetheart, Christy.  He enjoys reading, exercising, practicing the martial arts, and traveling with the family.  Trips usually include looking for an opportunity to go white water rafting, however that usually ends with Christy dumping everyone out of the boat.

ELIZABETH BOYCE​

After graduation from Allen ISD High School, Elizabeth Boyce earned her Associates of Applied Arts in Graphic Design at Collin College. She is currently attending Stephen F. Austin University working toward a Bachelor of Fine Art in Illustration. 

 

In her free time, Elizabeth plays with her two cats and enjoys sketching in her own anime style.

CHRISTY BOYCE

Christy Boyce earned her Bachelor’s of Interdisciplinary Studies at The University of Texas at Tyler and is currently seeking her Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction there. Previously, she taught various grade levels in Allen ISD for 15 years (10 years at Story Elementary and five years at Ford Middle School). She believes that education is vital, and she enjoys sharing the love of learning with her students.

She is married to her middle-school sweetheart, Danny Boyce, and they have three wonderful children who are now pursuing adventures and careers of their own.  Even though miles separate them, the family still enjoys spending time together. One of their all-time favorite activities is white water rafting. However, if you ask the rest of the family, they will tell you that Christy likes to push them out of the boat. 

RYAN BOYCE​

Ryan Boyce earned his diploma from Allen High School where many of his friends were concurrently enrolled at Collin College. He continued his education at Oklahoma State University. During the pandemic of 2020, Ryan moved back to Allen and took summer courses at Collin to continue his academic journey before graduating from OSU with a bachelor's degree in physics. As a continuing Ph.D. student at the University of Houston, Ryan understands the value of education and believes strongly in the community college mission of removing traditional barriers to education.

ASHLEY BOYCE​

Ashley Boyce is a high school librarian for Victoria ISD. She holds a Masters in Library Science, Youth Librarian Certification, and a bachelor's degree in English. Prior to being a librarian, she taught middle school English in Allen ISD for five years. Over her career, she's worked for a total of four school districts and seen the need for students to be provided access to higher level education.

FLUBERT

Family/Foundation Mascot

​

Flubert is the five-finned family fish. He originated from Six Flags in Arlington, Texas where Danny won him in a carnival game and given to his young kids as a gift. Flubert took his first family camping vacation when the family went to Yellowstone National Park and has became a regular traveling companion with the family ever since.  

​

Flubert currently resides in the offices of the Flubert Foundation as a reminder of the experiences made available to the family through the economic opportunity of higher education - an opportunity the Foundation hopes to help provide others desiring to improve themselves.
